Keelan Harvick wins SNOWFLAKE 125

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Keelan Harvick made history early Sunday morning by becoming the youngest Allen Turner Snowflake 125 winner at just 13 years old— overcoming a late-race mistake to seal the biggest victory of his young career.

After charging from 15th to the lead, Harvick slipped on a restart with 45 laps left, dropping behind Tristan McKee and Kaden Honeycutt. But he quickly regained his composure, ran down McKee within 20 laps, and pulled away to the win at Five Flags Speedway.

“It’s really cool,” Harvick said, crediting the sacrifices of his family and the experience he gained racing across the country with his father, 2014 NASCAR Cup champion Kevin Harvick. Their year-long schedule — including a friendly father-son Harvick Cup that Keelan won 5–2 — helped prepare him for the Snowflake’s tough field of more than 60 cars.

Kevin said he was proud to see his son rebound from the restart mistake and manage pressure with maturity. “Winning is great, but watching his progression means even more,” he said.

The Snowflake 125 marks Keelan’s eighth win in his first season of full-bodied stock car racing, adding to trophies earned at Kern Raceway, Hickory, and North Wilkesboro. With this milestone behind him, he’s already focused on continuing to improve — and one day taking a shot at the Snowball Derby.
